ALL are welcome and the overflow crowd will sit in the main restaurant and patio. Everyone orders off the menu as usual.

The California Central Coast Region of The Porsche Club of America (CCCR-PCA) is holding an Autocross School on Saturday, February 22, 2020. Entry will be limited to 30 students. The Ground School will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Santa Maria Airport Administration Office, which is located on 3217 Terminal Dr., Santa Maria, CA 93455. Parking in rear of building.
The agenda for the day begins with a sit-down instruction session for about 90 minutes to discuss the basics of autocross. We then will proceed to the Santa Maria Airport autocross track where we will conduct tech inspection. After tech inspection we will have three driving exercises: Braking, Slalom, and a Skid Pad Exercise. You will be assigned to a group for these exercises. Each driver will run the exercises several times. All participants will be assigned a driving instructor for the day. After completion of the 3 exercises, we will set up the track and take a few runs with your instructor.
Again, sign-up early as we expect the Autocross School will fill up fast! It is limited to the first 30 students.
The regular autocross, Teststrecke 40, will be on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020.
Registration for the Autocross School only is $60 for PCA Members and $70 for Non-PCA Members.
Registration for the Autocross School and the Autocross (both events) is $120 for PCA Members and $140 for Non-PCA Members.
PCA Members may register for one or both events beginning on January 11, 2020 beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The autocross on Sunday will be limited to 60 participants.

California Central Coast Region PCA is holding a Driver Education at Buttonwillow Raceway Park March 27, 2020, sponsored by Santa Barbara Porsche and SGS Independent Porsche Care. Registration is open for PCA members and non-PCA members. This not a Porsche only event. We are offering a Vintage Class Session and dinner at the track.

A Vintage Class session is available to all qualified cars as per the following: All cars must be manufactured prior to 1989, be registered and street legal except all two liter engines may be race cars.Turbos and displacement over 3.2 are not allowed. Porsche owners have until Feb. 8, 2020 to register then the class with be open to non Porsche cars allowed on an individual bases. Bring your old analogue cars out and have some fun. This is not a race but a chance to take out your older maybe under-powered car to a race track without a 500hp GT3RS with PDK screaming by you. This session will be limited to the maximum of 25 cars. Don’t hesitate to register, this session will fill very quickly.
Please take advantage of the Thursday Tech and registration, make your life and ours less stressful on Friday morning. Registration and tech will be open at 4:00pm to 6:30pm Thursday the 26th, the day prior to the event. We are offering a dinner the evening of the 26th after registration and tech, to be held at the track cafeteria starting at 6:00pm. Everyone is encouraged to register then attend the dinner. This will be great opportunity to get to know your fellow drivers. As many of you know the restaurants in the Buttonwillow Truck Stop are a not the best, hang out at the track with the rest of us! Please bring as many quests as you wish for the dinner. When you sign up on MSR, please give us the number of dinners you would like.
Maximum entry for this DE is 125 drivers with 5 run groups,including Vintage, beginner, novice, advanced and expert. All solo drivers must have a minimum of 4 days track experience or have a signed log book by PCA certified instructor. Instruction will be provided for novice drivers depending upon Instructor availability. Students will be in one run group if possible. If one day of track is not enough for you, our good friends at Golden Gate Region will follow our event the 28th and 29th. You can register at MSR.
This event will use Buttonwillow Track Layout #1 run Clock Wise.

On the morning of the event, the 27th, registration at the track will open at 6:00 AM and close just before the mandatory drivers meeting at 7:30 AM. Registration will be in the covered area just in front of the cafe. Driver’s meeting will be in the cafe.

Several hotels are available in area for you to choose. Camping and RV sites are available at the track, please contact the Buttonwillow Raceway for information. Garages are available on request from Buttonwillow Raceway.

The California Central Coast Region Porsche Club will hold it’s second Annual Driver Education at Laguna Seca Raceway sponsored by Santa Barbara Porsche for PCA members and non-PCA members on Monday May 18th, 2020 at the historic Laguna Seca Raceway. Instruction will be provided for up to 25 students depending upon Instructor availability. If you have had a minimum of 4 track days but have not had experience at Laguna Seca you must request a ride along and approval prior to driving solo. Anyone with less than 4 track days will be considered a student and must request a instructor. Maximum entry is 100 participants with 4 run groups. Other drivers must have prior experience with us or a signed off log book. If your eligibility is in question, please contact Bob Bruington at Aircooled911sc@gmail.com. We accept completed Tech Forms from any legitimate auto focused business. You can use the above linked form from our web site, a PCA Zone 8 form or a POC form. Be informed that completed full tech of your car at the track on Friday is an additional $100.00 fee. To avoid this, get your car tech’d in advance! If you are near San Luis Obispo, we offer a free tech at SGS Motorsport, 750 Francis St., San Luis Obispo, CA on Wed., date to be determined. A free tech inspection will be supplied on Sunday evening, 3/17/20, starting at 5:30pm, ending at 7:00 pm for all participants. The inspection will be located at Laguna Seca Raceway, near the gas pump area. If you want a tech inspection the morning of the event, we will supply the tech for an additional $100.00 fee. Please have full tech completed prior to attending the event!
Note: The paddock will be occupied by another organization. Please place your cars appropriately on the small paddock next to the gas pump area..
Starting 1/1/19 PCA has required a head and neck restraint devise for any car with 5 or 6 point harness systems. Please visit

Registrations after 3/12/20 will result in an additional $50.00 fee.
2019 DE rules require helmets be Snell 2010 or 2015. Helmets are available for rent at CCCR garage.
