Autocross
Autocross is the most safe and least expensive form of racing. An autocross course is set up on a flat surface defined by 100+ safety traffic cones or pylons. Each course is unique. We are fortunate to enjoy a high quality facility originally constructed by Porsche A.G. A typical course-run lasts between 40 and 60 seconds. Top speeds seldom exceed 60 mph. Entrants are racing against the clock, not racing against other entrants on the course at the same time. Our autocross events are open to all levels of driving experience and all cars and trucks, stock or modified. We encourage beginners and provide instruction. Each year we offer our annual autocross academy. See our schedule for access to more details.
Our events take place on the south side of the Santa Maria Public Airport north of the intersection of the Union Valley Parkway and S. Blosser Road. (map) Events take place behind a closed airport gate and are restricted to drivers and volunteers.
