DESCRIPTION:AX Academy  \nOur Austocross Academy is scheduled for Saturday April 13th.  The Academy is limited to just 30 students\, don’t delay your registration.  With just 30 students\, you will get lots of one on one instruction and many laps on course to learn and progress your driving skills.  This is a great way to dip your toes into AX or just learn more about your current driving ability and how your vehicle handles performance driving.  If you’ve been on the fence\, now is the time to do it.  This is a safe and controlled environment to learn what you and your car can do.  The Academy will begin with classroom instruction followed by an afternoon of driving on a controlled course with your instructor.  Course instruction will start with exercises of individual AX elements followed by runs of a full AX course.  You will leave having learned more about your capability\, your areas for improvement and what your vehicle is capable of.

DESCRIPTION:California Central Coast Region has just opened the registration for a Drivers Education Event at the famous Laguna Seca Weather Tech Raceway. This is 92DB day set for June 16th\, 2024. DESCRIPTION:Spring is right around the corner along with the start of the racetrack season. California Central Coast Region PCA will have our first Drivers Education event on May 3rd at Buttonwillow Raceway. Registration is now open at CCCR DE Buttonwillow May 3rd 2024. We limit the cars to only 25 per session\, don’t hesitate to sign up soon\, this event could fill quickly. We will have four run groups; Beginner\, Intermediate\, Advanced and Expert. As usual\, we will have plenty of PCA-registered instructors to help new drivers. PCA does require anyone with less than four days of high-speed driving experience\, to have an instructor\, or have been signed off by an instructor.\n\n\nIf you would like more than just one day at the track\, Golden Gate Region will have a two-day event immediately after our event on May 4th and 5th. You can register at PCA-GGR DE 3 / TT 2 – Duel in the Desert\n\n\nCome to the track Thursday\, May 2nd for early registration\, safety check and a dinner at the Raceway Café\, trackside at Buttonwillow Raceway. We’ll have chicken and steak fajitas\, beans\, and rice with all the fixings.\n\n\nWe also will have the Parade Lap session at noon for those who would like to experience a professional racetrack at slower speeds. SUMMARY:Autocross Academy - RESCHEDULED for July 27
DESCRIPTION:AX Academy – RESCHEDULED DUE TO RAIN – NEW DATE – JULY 27 \nOur AX Academy is scheduled for Saturday April 13th.  The Academy is limited to just 30 students\, don’t delay your registration.  With just 30 students\, you will get lots of one on one instruction and many laps on course to learn and progress your driving skills.  This is a great way to dip your toes into AX or just learn more about your current driving ability and how your vehicle handles performance driving.  If you’ve been on the fence\, now is the time to do it.  This is a safe and controlled environment to learn what you and your car can do.  The Academy will begin with classroom instruction followed by an afternoon of driving on a controlled course with your instructor.  Course instruction will start with exercises of individual AX elements followed by runs of a full AX course.  You will leave having learned more about your capability\, your areas for improvement and what your vehicle is capable of.
