SUMMARY:Special Event: Photo Rally
DESCRIPTION:We have lots of great roads here on the Central Coast\, but if you are feeling like we drive the same routes over and over\, well\, do we have an adventure for you!! \nOn Saturday\, October 11\, CCCR will be offering a unique extended tour and photo rally along the San Lorenzo Creek and Peach Tree Valley that follow the San Andreas Fault. You will see some of California’s most remote vistas\, dramatic geological formations\, and expansive ranch lands. \nAt 9:00 AM we will begin our tour at the Mission Market and Deli in San Miguel. Our end point will be the Cork and Plough Restaurant in King City where we will have lunch and exclusive Porsche parking on the mall at the King City Town Center. Our route will be approximately 75 miles long and will take about two hours. Every car will be given\nspecific route directions with pictures of important junctures. \nFor those who wish to participate\, we will offer one of our very fun photo rallies. Participants will need to have\nboth a driver and a navigator/scout. Participants will be given a sheet with 15 photo-waypoints to find for points in the rally competition. Results will be tallied at the Cork and Plough and first\, second\, and third prizes will be awarded. DESCRIPTION:Join us at our autocross (AX) event.  This is a fun sport and a great way to get into performance driving.  All CCCR PCA autocrosses are held at the  located in Santa Maria\, CA.  Event registration is handled at .  Registration opens for PCA members about 5 weeks out from the event; 3 weeks out registration will open to non-PCA.  Expect a full day from 6:30am – 4pm. \nGates open at 6:30am\, it is highly encouraged to arrive no later than 7am; if you arrive after 7 you may not have time to get through tech and/or walk the track.  The gate will be closed and un-staffed by 8am.  You will be asked to sign our waiver at the gate and will be given a small envelope with a wrist band and group run sticker for your windshield.  The front of your envelope will list your run group\, run order\, car # and work assignment.  Unlike past events\, you will need to print and bring your Tech Sheet\, Track Map and Registration Doc (See links below).  After you park\, get your car ready (remove all loose objects\, put on car numbers and run group sticker\, bring your SNELL 2015 or newer helmet) and get to tech ASAP.  Once through tech\, go walk the course\, twice if you can.  Driver’s Meeting will start at 8:30am sharp followed by the first run group \nContact our AX Director Fred Herr at Fred-PCA-CCCR-AX@comcast.net with any questions.
