For 2019, Driver Education (DE) events are being held at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca on Highway 68 in Monterey County, and at Buttonwillow Raceway Park just off I-5 between Lost Hills and Buttonwillow. These are non-competitive, non-timed driving sessions to practice high speed handling. All drivers are placed in appropriate skill-level-groups. Beginning drivers are paired with instructors. Drivers typically run three to five 20-minute sessions. Laguna Seca is one of the iconic famous tracks in the United States. Buttonwillow is one of the safest high speed tracks in California. Both tracks are about a two hours’ drive from San Luis Obispo. There are accommodations for RVs and camping at Buttonwillow.
