PCA Cal-Inland Tour to Santa Paula Airport- May 5th 2019

The first Sunday in May is set aside for car clubs, and we are scheduled to display our Porsches on the airport grounds for visitors to view. The airport, established in 1930, is one of the last remaining airfields in California representing the golden age of aviation. The airport comes alive during Sundays open house for you to explore each privately owned hangar and speak with owners about their vintage aircraft and other memorabilia from antique radios to racecars. You will see all types of vintage aircraft in flight, so bring your cameras!! The tarmac will have booths offering items of interest for purchase. They also have an extensive museum of aircraft memorabilia which you can visit. The restaurant at the airport “Flight 126 Café” is now open for those who want to experience a great breakfast or lunch.

Time and Place: 6:30 am at Albertson’s parking lot at corner of 10th Street W and W Palmdale Blvd. We will then caravan to the Walmart Super Center parking lot from the West Rye Canyon Road entrance at approximately 7:30-7:45 am to meet members from the southern part of the region.

Try and be at our first meeting place because the run via San Francisquito Rd is very exciting!!
